A weekly competitor and neighborhood report for bakeries

AlleyPulse is a weekly neighborhood intelligence email for bakery owners. Every Monday it lists what changed within 1 km of your bakery: nearby bakeries and cafés posting promos, rating moves, new and closed listings, markets and weather, each with why it matters and what to do.

What does it do for a bakery?

A bakery sells to the morning rush, the weekend market and the occasional large order. AlleyPulse tells you about the changes nearby that touch those, such as a rival's promo, a new listing, a market day or a wet week. It costs $29 per month per shop, the first issue is free, and you can cancel anytime.

What will I see each Monday?

  • Nearby bakeries and cafés: public posts and promos from similar businesses, rating and review count changes, with summarized themes.
  • New and closed listings: a bakery or café that appears on Google Maps near you for the first time, or one marked closed on Google.
  • Markets and events: public events calendars and local news for markets, fairs and road closures that change who walks past.
  • Weather: the forecast for the week and what it means for stock.
  • Search interest and industry headlines: the regional trend for bakery related searches and one or two industry headlines, as relative trends.

Questions bakery owners ask

Is there something that tells a bakery owner what is changing in the neighborhood each week?

Yes. AlleyPulse is a weekly neighborhood intelligence email for local shops, including bakeries. It lists what changed within your radius every Monday, with why it matters, what to do and a source link for each item.

Does it show what nearby bakeries and cafés are doing?

It reports public posts and promos from similar businesses near you, plus rating and review count changes and new or closed listings. Other businesses are described in anonymized form.

Can it warn me about markets and road closures?

It lists markets, festivals and road closures that are published on public events calendars and local news pages near you. Coverage depends on what is published online for your area.

Is there a local search trend for bakery related terms?

Each issue includes regional search interest for your business type compared with recent weeks, from 0 to 100. It is a relative regional trend, not your street and not a count of people.

Does AlleyPulse replace checking Google Maps?

It replaces the weekly check. AlleyPulse compares each week's snapshot of nearby listings with the last one, so you see what changed instead of trying to remember what was there.

How much does AlleyPulse cost for a bakery?

$29 USD per month for each shop, billed monthly, and you can cancel anytime. The first issue of every shop is free, and a free sample report is available for any supported address. There is no setup fee and no contract.

How do I start with AlleyPulse for my bakery?

Enter your bakery's address on the home page, choose a radius of 0.5, 1 or 2 km and ask for the free sample. The first weekly issue is a baseline of what is around you today, and changes appear from issue 2.

Can I use AlleyPulse for more than one bakery?

Yes. One account can hold many shops, each with its own address, radius and recipients. Each shop is its own $29 per month subscription, so two shops are $58 per month.
