A weekly competitor and neighborhood report for bars and pubs

AlleyPulse is a weekly neighborhood intelligence email for bar and pub owners. Every Monday it lists what changed within 1 km of your bar: what nearby bars posted, new and closed listings, rating moves, local events and the weather, each with a suggested action.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

What does it do for a bar?

A bar's busiest nights depend on what else is on nearby and what the weather does. AlleyPulse puts the events, rival promos and forecast for the week in one short email. It costs $29 per month per shop, the first issue is free, and you can cancel anytime.

What will I see each Monday?

  • Competitor promos and events: public posts from nearby bars, such as a happy hour or a quiz night, read from their Google Maps listings and public social posts.
  • New and closed listings: a bar that appears on Google Maps near you, or one marked closed on Google.
  • Local events: markets, festivals and gigs that bring people past your door, from public events calendars.
  • Rating and review changes: nearby venues whose rating moves, with summarized themes instead of quoted reviews.
  • Weather: the forecast and what it means for a terrace or beer garden.

Questions bar owners ask

Is there a tool that shows what other bars near me are promoting?

AlleyPulse reports public posts and promos from nearby bars within your radius, with a dated source link, in a weekly email every Monday. Nearby venues are described in anonymized form, such as a bar 300 m away.

Does it tell me about events near my bar?

Yes, events published on public calendars and in local news within your radius, such as markets and festivals. It does not know about private events, and coverage varies by city and language.

Can I see when a new bar opens near me?

AlleyPulse tells you when a business appears on Google Maps near you for the first time. A new listing is not a confirmed opening, so the item says new on Google Maps near you.

Is the information real time?

No. AlleyPulse compares weekly snapshots and arrives on Monday morning. Information can be hours to days old, so it suits planning the week, not reacting to tonight.

Does it work for pubs and wine bars?

Yes. Choose Bar as the business type. Pubs, cocktail bars, breweries and wine bars are all read as bars for the nearby comparison.

How much does AlleyPulse cost for a bar?

$29 USD per month for each shop, billed monthly, and you can cancel anytime. The first issue of every shop is free, and a free sample report is available for any supported address. There is no setup fee and no contract.

How do I start with AlleyPulse for my bar?

Enter your bar's address on the home page, choose a radius of 0.5, 1 or 2 km and ask for the free sample. The first weekly issue is a baseline of what is around you today, and changes appear from issue 2.

Can I use AlleyPulse for more than one bar?

Yes. One account can hold many shops, each with its own address, radius and recipients. Each shop is its own $29 per month subscription, so two shops are $58 per month.
